The reason for the existence of different tables is the use of different calculation methods for fajr time. It is Norway’s geographical location that means that Muslims have to calculate this, and several such methods have been developed to determine fajr time in areas that have abnormal conditions during the summer.

We recommend that all Muslims follow the times published by their respective mosques and do not criticize those who follow other alternatives. Remember that different opinions in our tradition do not constitute a basis for division and strife, as long as they are based on taqwa and in-depth knowledge of the issue.
