EID UL FITR 2020

Assalamu Alaykum wbk.

The IRN imam committee has decided that Eid Al-Fitr will fall on Sunday, May 24, 2020. This is one of the 3 major holidays in Islam, and marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. Wim invites you to Salah/prayer in our premises. There will still be strict infection control measures (MAX. 50 people) as a result of the corona virus, otherwise we may risk being closed by inspection by authorities.

All visitors must be registered with name and phone number at the entrance.

• Hand sanitizer must be used upon arrival.
• Everyone must perform wudhu from home, as we do not have such facilities open due to strict hygiene requirements.
• Everyone must bring their own prayer rug, prayer hat, tasbih, Quran and gloves, otherwise you will not be able to enter.
• Maintain a distance of at least 1 meter between people in the premises and avoid physical contact such as handshakes, etc.
• Elderly people over 65 and children under 12 cannot participate until further notice. We will return with information when it is safe for them to visit the mosque.
• People with medical history (heart and lung disease, diabetes, cancer or high blood pressure) or those who are ill with fever, respiratory symptoms, cough, etc. are also not recommended to visit us until further notice.
• Please show respect to the guard at the door, We do not allow more than 50 people at each prayer, as there are always other people in the building as well.

Everyone must carefully read the infection control instructions before registering and leaving for the Id-Al-Fitr prayer.

As a further measure to prevent and limit the spread of infection, we have chosen to pre-register everyone who wishes to attend Eid prayers. Please contact your local mosque for registration.
